Word and alignment

Looking for help with alignment and wasnt working what I thought
My mum is looking to align one side of the text to left hand side and then the line of text on the right hand side. So like:

Left ______________________________ Right

i think thats what she is wanting.

edit: doesnt even want to align for this ¬¬

What version of Word? Would setting up columns work?

uhm? 2007 =S not sure what her work is using.
i would say columns but its not the entire thing that she wants done, just a few lines in a document.

Make a table with two columns then and make it fit the width of the page. Once the text has been entered change the table borders to be none and align the text left and right for the two columns.
