word count of docs in Finder

Any of you bright chaps know if this can be desplayed in finder list view.
I have loads of docx files and a word count column would assist greatly.

You could add metadata to the file - which spotlight can see - and then have live updating folders with specific ranges of word count.

I am sure you could create an applescript to determine the word count and add it to your meta data automagically. Try asking on one of the applescript sites.

Google 'word count applescript' - a few people have done similar things - but normally only for the currently open document.
