word press http error

Trying to get my head around word press and only wanted a nice simple site for a blog for myself. Doubt anyone will ever read it but doesn't stop me wanting to have correct functionality.
I'm getting errors on uploads of images they are under 2mb and I have even changed the settings so that it will accept 128mb files but I'm still getting a http error upon uploading some files. Any thoughts?

What setting did you change? Was in in wordpress or in the php.ini settings?

That error is a bloody mystery. I had it uploading videos over 200mb in size or something. It's to do with timeouts on the server but no amount of screwing around fixed it so I gave up. Should revisit one day really.

It can be something related to root php.ini setting for server timeout and upload limit, can try and check the setting you got on your server?

I tried that. Set timeout to 2 minutes and more, didn't do it. It's a weird one. Just my experience. As I mentioned, I've not fully investigated the cause. Odd that it's on such small files OP.
