Word shortcuts

Basically my dissertation heavily involves the use of subset numbers 3 and 4. Is there anyway to bind this to a key? I have found how to map symbols to keys, but subscript 3 and 4 arent in the symbols list (or i cant see them). Is there an easy way to make a shortcut to put them in the text?

You could always make a macro and assign it to a keyboard shortcut.
