Wordpress and Static HTML

Hey guys, I need a bit of help.

I have a static website. On the home page, I want it to show the latest 3-5 posts from a wordpress blog which is installed on a subdomain.

So I've got:

domain.com
blog.domain.com

And I want some of the posts from the blog to appear on the main domain which is just a static HTML page.

How do I go about doing so?

Hmm - wouldn't its that straight forward.

I suppose you could generate a rss feed of them posts and display on your page with feedburner or something

Hmm if it's static you'll have to make sure the server parses html files as php - http://www.velvetblues.com/web-development-blog/how-to-parse-html-files-as-php/
