Hi fokes im newish to word press just wondered if any advanced users could help me with a few questions.

I have developed a site, its a site not a blog now i want to let the client update the page contents, but not let them add pages or change the design what would be the best role to give them?

I have also been asked how many people can log on and alter the site at the same time, they would be updating different pages?

Im thinking about making a guide for the users on how to update the pages do you know of any guides out there that exist already to save time?

On a different site how difficult is it to change a html/css site into a Wordpress one?

Thanks in advance

1) I can't remember if you can specify your own roles in WP, but something along the lines of editor should give them the option to modify text without the options of major appearance changes. Best way to test is to make dummy users at each level.

2) You can have as many people as you like. The issue is that if two people are working on the same page then the person that hits update last wins, their modifications will override whatever the previous person had done. There may be a plugin to help manage this.

3) Sorry, nope, but it's quite straight forward, I just write my own docs.

4) If it's purely a design and content switch then it's usually very easy / completely subjective. If you're new to it all then it won't be so easy.
