Wordpress - Flickr gallery plugin

I'm stepping into the world of wordpress in order to design my first website to display photographs I've taken. I've got the basic layout sorted and would now like to add selections from my flickr account.

I'm lookin for a plugin which will allow me to add a range of thumbnails to my portfolio page which in turn link to their corresponding flickr selections. This will then display a page of thumbnails and when selected open them up into a slideshow.

Really appreciate any help with this as I'm enjoying the learning experience

Check out the Flickr API if you have some experience with PHP or similar, or else lookup phpFlickr.

Or if you really want it simple, search the WordPress plugin directory for a flickr related one. There will defo be something there which does it.

I've never used PHP before so it's all very new to me.

I'll have a look at the WordPress plugin directory and see what's there
