Hi guys not sure if this is possible im trying to create webpages on my site as example.

www.mywebsite.co.uk/cars
www.mywebsite.co.uk/bikes
www.mywebsite.co.uk/computers

etc etc But for some reason I can only create.

www.mywebsite.co.uk/index.php/cars
www.mywebsite.co.uk/index.php/bikes
www.mywebsite.co.uk/index.php/computers

Now Id like to remove index.php from the url is this possible to have a straight url to a page like I want ?

It depends on what your "Permalink" settings are, and whether your host will support what you've configured.


For example - the FastHosts account I've been forced to use at work doesn't support it, so I have to use /index.php/xxxxx
