Wordpress Help....

Hi,

Just came across http://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/nicetitle/ anhd thought it would look cool on my blog

Which files do i need to edit so this will work, as i don't want to mess up my install

How does it work?

At the top of your page, include both the nicetitle.js and nicetitle.css files, as follows:

<script type="text/javascript" src="nicetitle.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="nicetitle.css">

You also need to grab the background image ntbg.png, put it somewhere, and change nicetitle.css to point to it.

Wordpress > Themes > header.php > stick ^^ between the <head> and </head> tags somewhere.

I run a hacked-up Worpdress install though so the steps might be slightly different, but Wordpress has a theme centre where you can edit the templates and you want to edit the header file

i would say the two are pretty similar. but wordpress seems to be most commonly used.

The best part about Textpattern - is that I can edit my pages from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. However I'm pretty sure with WP you need an FTP/similar and the ability to edit the themes/docs.

Huh? Try this for a little comparison - it seems WP is cooler
