Im a newbie when it comes to PHP, CSS & pretty much webdesign on a whole. I have tried to create my own theme incorporating our company site.
The blog is situated on - www.hilltrident.co.uk/blog/
(I know it take time to load, im talking with the web hosts as we speak)
The full site is - www.hilltrident.co.uk
(to give you an idea of how the site needs to work)
The current problems that I have are the following;
1. I cannot get my javascript menu to work on the blog? when I hover over the buttons it displays - www.hilltrident.co.uk/blog/, I cant see what is different from the original site except it is aspx and not php.
2. I cannot get the table to center like on the original site even though i havent changed the css for it!
3. I cannot get the menu system at the bottom to be justified in the center like the original site (www.hilltrident.co.uk)
4. I cannot get the sidebar to intergrate with the rest of the look of the site in white text and more aesthetically pleasing.
Can anybody with the skills help in anyway? I only have the wordpress for dummies book on hand and it doesnt explain any of this!
I have posted on wordpress.org however there community doesnt seem to be anywhere near as vibrant as this place and no one seems to be able to help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Chris
