Wordpress/PHP question

Hi all,

With wordpress themes is it possible (both technically and legally) to just customise them by editing the PHP?

I've put a review theme on my site which has an option when people are posting which says "Is this post a review?" and then a yes no radio button to change.

I want to make it so that radio button is not displayed for normal users and to force the answer to the question to be yes.

Just wondered if this is possible and if I'm ok to do it if I can figure it out?

Cheers,

G

The answer is yes to both "is it possible" and "is it legal".

However, that does come with a caveat in that you should read the T&C's/licensing requirements of the theme you're using - some don't like you removing footer elements which contain the themes name/creator for example.
