Wordpress, Wiki's and other alternatives

Hi all,

I've used Wordpress before and was very impressed with it,

The company is looking for a new intranet alternative, and I've been asked to do some research into web blogs they can host themselves.

First things that came to my mind was either Wordpress or a Wiki (Providing I can find a decent template)

Can anyone suggest any other alternatives at all? I'm going to look into as many as I can to find which will provide the best solution.

'Intranet' is a wide-ranging term, but Textpattern is another option akin to Wordpress's functionality. We use a wiki at work here for open discussion on projects, and a custom solution for tickets/reports/calendars etc.
