So I' am self employed at the minute and just got an inquiry from a firm for some work, Talked away and arranged a follow up call to work out specifics.
Then when I googled the firm turns out its owned by a family mine hates.
Short version ; Neighbors from hell two brother's completely mad tortured my parents & threatened my Dad, poured paint thinner over car bonnet etc.
This firm is run by their sister who I've had no dealings with, but call came from employee not herself. So could also be turned away upon arrival also being morally bankrupt could also end up not getting paid.
Is this a case of business is business and let bygones be bygones or
trust my gut & politely decline the work ?
Anyone else be in a similar situation ?
