Work laptop

So a colleague of mine wants a laptop for work. It has to have a pretty decent processor to run many platforms/programs without issues, run two monitors easily and has an SSD.

I was looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-036-GI&groupid=959&catid=1828

looks like it might do the trick but its lacking an SSD. Reckon OCUK could swap the 1TB hdd in it with a 180gb ssd and up the cost?

Ideally would want to keep it as cheap as possible. So any recommendations would be great.

OCUK won't change the spec of a laptop. They're sold as is.

However you can always pop a SSD in the laptop yourself and then use the 1TB drive as an external drive for back ups with the use of a 2.5" USB 3.0 caddy.

OCUK only tends to have gaming machines and some rather under powered Toshiba's.

In terms of pure work laptops I'm a fan of the Dell Latitude range. They're more robust than the gaming laptops. But they'll cost a little more in some cases. You can shop around. £750 on dell out will get the following:

Dell also do a Precision range of laptop however they come with the nvidia Quadro and from what it sounds like that would be overkill for what they need.
