At work we ship a lot of products to a lot of foreign companies that require ingredient lists in there language. Usually to do this we get the companies to translate it and send it us back, then we will print screen it and import the image into our label software.

Recently we got a new printer and scales that is windows based and can get it to type in several languages (letters), but when we come to print something it prints nothing that is in foreign language or uses letters other then A-Z.

Would it be language packs, or fonts? something else?

What type of printer is it? try having a look in your printer driver properties for an option called 'send truetype as bitmap' and enabling this.

It's an espera scales and printer so its an industrial setup, but the computer is run on windows with an espera front end, just not sure how much of windows it is actually using.

Just been having a play with it and still no luck, we can get it to show on the screen what we want but the printer prints nothing.
