Work remote emails now cant reply(cross in corner)

I think this is the right place to post as I suspect it may be related.

I can access my work email from home by logging onto the server. I managed this in the past without a problem.

But after I upgraded from XP to Vista I have a problem.

I can connect to the site fine and read my emails. But when I go to reply the window opens as normal but where I could write my reply I have a small cross in the top left corner and cannot write a reply.

Any ideas before I ring the IT people at work? Its as if I am missing something :confused:

I assume you are using Outlook style web access (OWA) ?

Yes I am. Looked like that may solve the problem. But I kep getting a failed download message

Thanks for the reply. Although file would not download at my end :confused:

I found that if I use firefox as the browser for accessing email it all works fine.

No probs, I always find it odd that a MS browser, running on an MS OS, interfacing with an MS backend (exchange) has these problems; I understand what they have taken out and why but surely there must be a more graceful way of doing it?
