Work Shoes - Brown or Black?

Getting a pair of new shoes for work tomorrow, just wondering what are peoples' preference for leather colour. Brown or Black.

I have always gone for black as it is the "standard" but saw some nice brown leather ones today and they were quite good. What are peoples' opinion brown leather shoes?

Depends on colour of clothes.. or if there are clothes at all.. you will need clothes for work (subject to job description).
 
I work in a law firm, wear a suit to work, this is one of them

Loving the pinstripe suit, very pimp daddy, am wearing a similar one today myself... I have brown shoes and tbh they get very little use as they dont fit with many suits and have ended up being used for going out with the jean and brown shoe combo coming into play.

In short agree with everybody else, its all about the black shoes with black suits.

Grey trousers - brown shoes

Thats the way i do it and im a dapper mother****er
 
Not with a black suit, no. Maybe with a grey suit but only if you have a belt and tie to go with it.
 
As you're not an estate agent, I would wear black shoes with your suit. Make sure you put a proper knot in your tie as well.

I'm the same, and also brown trousers and shoes. And of course if (and I don't) wear blue trousers it's brown shoes.

I would also wear black shoes with grey trousers, but I prefer brown.
