Just got one of these on SMP and it's worth a lot of points. :cool:

It seems core usage is also a lot higher though (around 90%+) so I may have to have a rethink on the concurrent GPU, as that is now going to take a serious hit. Anyone else had one of these yet?
 
Got a few atm. They look pretty good vfm. My 4400+ does about 940-970 PPD with P3025s, looks like being around 1150 PPD with P2605. They are taking between 22 and 25 mins per frame here but with a preferred deadline of 3 days, there should be no problem whatsoever.

I've just stopped my windows clients as they weren't getting a look in, the windows task manager is showing 98-99% processor usage with the one smp client running under vmware. Looks like they are moving towards maxing out the cpu now. If my system keeps getting these work units works out as 2223ppd !!

Looks like it makes a massive difference being conroe for this wu. Some of them are very close to my opty, others less so :(
 
Using a checkpoint earlier of my two averaged out at 22 mins a frame.

That gives me 2.25+K PPD... 15.5k+ PPW... :D

Ummn, 12 min per frame is not 2.1k PPD its like closer to 2.5k and 12 min a frame isn't possible ;)

Im running a 430x8 Conroe, even with 20% loss in power from VMware doesn't = 12 min frames ;)

Avg time is up because I was running 2 clients to start with then I've just had a couple of hours on BF2142.

12 min frame is for single SMP client. With second SMP client running a 3025 it drops to around 23 min per frame on the 2605 + around 10 mins per frame for the 3025, which I think works out slightly less ppd overall.

I've just checked pretty much all my logs and 20:XX mins was the shortest frame time on both of my clients... I don't see how you can have a faster frame time when I have a faster Conroe :/

He means with only 1 SMP running he was getting 12mins a frame, my 3.2 E6600 with one SMP running was doing it between 10min 50sec & 11min 10sec a frame on the 2605 WU in a vmare client.

From what I'm reading you are getting over 20mins a frame however have 2 SMP clients running. When he was running two SMP clients his frame time went up to 23min.

Hmm these 1760 seem more CPU intensive than other ones in that case because earlier workunits only increased by 20% instead of near 100% with the 1760 pointers...
