Does anyone on here, or know of some one who works for bet365 at all. I was contacted by them today asking if I was interested in one of their positions at the main headquaters in Stoke.

I have been on the Internet reading up about them, but I am also very interested on what they are like as employees, so any inside info would be a bonus going into my interview next week.

Cheers :)

Its very male orientated. For stoke its good money and opportunity's to move up are good if your face fits.

Heard of much worse places to work

I am already in employment and my work is only 10 mins from where I am living at the moment. Working in Stoke will be a good hour at peak times, so am just weighing up my options and will see how much they offer me for the position.

Depends what you will be doing (work for william hills myself so not the same but the client base is). If you are working directly with the punters then you will want to commit suicide quite shortly after starting. 10% of our clients are polite, decent people to talk to, the rest are the most arrogant, ignorant, depressing, angry, impatient people ive come across. They make a decent job involving sports and people an almost unbearable experience. They lose money, you get blamed.

If you're okay with working for a business that potentially ruins lives then why not? :p

When I was £200 down at Bet365 they kept ringing me up and giving me free £5 offers to try and lure me back, now I'm £800 up they give me crappy offers and don't ring. :(

Heard they put account limits on people who are too successful so I guess they only want the addicted debt laden drunkards as customers.

If they phone and you're drunk do you get better deals?

i have a mate who works in technical support, prepare to do shifts, 1 weekend off in 4 (I think) and remeber its a 24/7 business so you could be doing night shifts but you do get paid more for doing them.
