Hi guys,

I was wondering if you can help me out.

I'm working on making soundcards/speakers/headphones product pages look better and more informative.

Anything you feel needs adding to this test example?

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SC-097-CL

Essentially I want all sound related products to follow a similar and familiar layout to put out the information in a clear fashion.

I like many of you probably skip past words to specs I always have and with products like the X7 that has so many specs the old list format just didn't work.

Yep, that works - I hate having to hunt specs down, so having them all laid out nicely like that will be a big help.

"Knock Out Quality DAC "

hmm not sure I want to be unconscious while listening to music :p

But yeah the specs will definitely be useful for those looking for that extra info. Which is why I think you should maybe add the names of the DAC and amp chip used, under key features :)

Much clear that the old text.

Is gray the only back fill you can use for the grid ? Not that its bad just wondered if a little colour would stand out more.

As a spec or As a key feature or perhaps both

Just set this up will make a proper page when i've set up the E3 and E1 so will be monday but since we're talking about the lay out this is what I've done.

it's needed doing for a while tbh,

:)

on a side not the U7 uses the Same DAC as the E5 which puts the E5 in good standing or does it put the U7 in better standing for the money.

Depends whether it uses the same buffer and amplifier sections.

How do they sound compared to each other? I would expect them to sound the same and the only real difference being the two extra speaker channels.

no idea one day I might get time to do a real side by side with some of this gear it's hard enough to use my kit some days let alone faff around with other stuff :)
