Works Terminal Server

Hi,

Ive been working from home today and it seems a touch slow. Checked out specs of the terminal server and its running an E5420 Xeon 2.5ghz with 12gb ram, is that any good?

Totally depends on how much load they are under.

For just you on your own then that's plenty of resources

You also have to think that the link (VPN, or otherwise) might be throttled.

If its a single server for 150 people its no wonder its slow!

We put in a single server for a company that was two E5530 CPUs and 16GB of RAM, that was for about 20 users using terminal services.

As other people have said though it depends what load the server and connection is under.
