As a part of a systems analyst project i need to spec upgrades for a small business. I have very little experience with servers; but i've managed to get this far at least.

The server will host a LAN database that in future may be migrated towards e-commerce, it will need to run 24/7 and be accessible at all times via the internet. The build will be in a locked room at all times so dust prevention and low maintenance is key.

This is the build i have so far, any recommendations are greatly appreciated. This is a purely hypothetical build by the way:
My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,154.02
(includes shipping: £14.10)

If you are speccing a server for business you should be using business grade hardware, not gaming stuff. If you expect the server to be up and running 27/4 you should be speccing a server with dual power supplies and a UPS as a minimum to ensure it stays up in the event of single PSU failure, or shutdown safely in the event of complete power loss - vital for the integrity of the database.

I didnt include the UPS on here because i felt it wasn't a part of the build.

I "business grade hardware" wont be found on OCUK :P

I'm glad that's a hypothetical build because it's rubbish ;)

No ECC RAM.
£250 case? What for?
Hydro cooler?
No RAID.

Seriously, just get server grade hardware. Supermicro stuff is quite well priced. Even pre-builds won't cost you much more at all than buying all the hardware.
You could find something similarly specced and far more reliable for several hundred £££ cheaper.

Much better :)

Price?

I'm presuming and hoping around the £900 mark I expect.
I'd be wanting to bump that up to at least 16GB for flexibility.

Probably get rid of the 300GB SAS and get a couple 250GB SSDs for RAID or a 250GB and a HDD for backup if it's not absolutely business critical.
