So I'm currently having a utility built, I'm leaning towards an acrylic one (corian). Does anyone have any experience of them?
Thanks, I was planning on doing it myself (wondering if I can get it made to measure). I hadn't really thought about splashbacks as the sink won't get a massive amount of use. It 2ill mainly be for washing paintbrushesWe make quite a few receptions at work using corian, there are a few cheaper alternatives. Is someone doing the worktop for you? Let me know if you want any advice
So we were leaning towards an S/S sink.Fair enough, but I'm not in the tradeI doubt Wren would be interested in selling a single unit but Howdens would happily sell a single unit or worktop if you are in the trade.
.Tbh I assumed you get a special card when your in the trade (although a calling card would probably do).Give them a call tomorrow:
Hello I'd like to open a non-credit account please?
Sure, business name?
Erm "theone8181 joinery"?
Great, what would you like?

Why what's wrong with wood? I also need to decide on a sink, I'd prefer to not go with stainless now as I've seen some fireclay one.sSolid wood in a utility sounds like a nightmare. There are some good laminate fakes these days that would be much more robust.
