It's the exact same all across the board; if you're kicked in one game with PB, you will face a high chance of having issues with any other. CoD4, America's Army, Crysis Wars, Battlefield 2 and Far Cry 2 are all virtually unplayable online now thanks to Evenbalance's refusal to update PB to work with W7 clients.

Happened to loads of people. Bug with the servers or something - nothing you can do about it but start again.

Hey guys,

I've just tried to play a co-op game with a friend who's in Germany (he has the retail version), but when we try to connect I get this message on screen:

The game versions are incompatible for online play in this mode

Any ideas or fixes?
 
Not sure of a fix, but I know some fps that are released in Germany have slightly different content to the rest of the world. Stuff like no swastikas etc.

Ah balls. I don't actually own another OS right now and I am not going to buy one for the sake of a few games when W7 is free at the moment.
 
Sorry if this is old news guys, but I just heard that a new map pack for COD:WAW is being released this month.

3 new multiplayer maps and a new zombie map.

I've enjoyed the game so far, so the new maps are a bonus...especially for half price :)
