World Athletics Championships (Potential Spoilers)

Probably the most exciting 10,000m I've ever watched and I never felt Farah didn't have it in him, the man's an absolute legend.

Now we just need Bolt to do the business tomorrow night although I fear that'll be tougher task.

Yeah, Bolt looked a bit slow getting going today, if he can sort that out he will win again as his last 50m was as good as always.

Does lane discipline rules only apply to the shorter races? I noticed Mo putting one foot outside the track when he tripped up on the 10k.

Either it was missed which is unlikely or it was dismissed as a DQ for him either being tripped (not sure, looks like he caught his own foot) or for being forced off track, or because it's Mo in England :)

I think it's bad enough that they disqualify anyone for jumping the gun just once, but disqualifying someone for an accidental mistake who has trained hard for months is way too harsh.

It used to be even worse when the first false starter got a warning and then the second false starter (regardless of whether it was the same person or not) got disqualified. Thankfully that was only for 6 years.
