streaming the world cup over the internet?

hi people im working during the match on saturday, is there anywhere where i'll be able to watch it over the internet at all?

The TV rights are worth too much, so I doubt there will be anywhere. Not legal anyway.

Maybe, you'd think that bcc would be expecting massive traffic. Maybe that still wont be enough, never normally is.

Even though BBC restricts streams to UK users only (via ip address presumably), I still can't see them having enough bandwidth for good quality video. 256kbit is about the bare minimum for a football match so it would only take a few thousand viewers to max out a gigabit connection. And that's assuming that the servers could handle the load anyway.

they may restrict them to uk, but others outside could probably watch it with a uk proxy server
