World Cup Second Round - England v Ecuador **SPOILERS**

My prediction:

Dodgy first half with us looking uneasy, second half Beckham subbed off for Downing, England play more attacking. Gerrard to score a belter, not to forget a Terry header to beat the keeper in the last few minutes.

If that was the case I'd lol so much :)
 
after watchin the first 3 games, i dnt think theres any chance of england winning the world cup this year, im sorry but unless they dramatically change in the coming games, theyll get knocked off their feet by one of the top 5 or 6 teams
 
I feel that this could be a possble banana skin for England as in the last few games we have only been playing at the same level as our opponents (which we do most of the time). But I think that we will go on to win 3-1 in the end, but with a few nervous moments during the game as usual ;)
 
There is no doubt England will score at least a goal, with Gerrard, Lampard (ok he's been crap so far but he's bound to score eventually), Rooney and Joe Cole in the team.

England to scrape through with lots of scares and another third rate performance then get dumped out by the Argies then to go home and get panned and Sven to be deported immediately and a campaign to get Beckham dropped.

If they were dumped out by the Argies that'd be in the final, no?

I'd take that. I reckon in the final we'd do them.
 
2-1 Ecuador

England take an early lead and for some unknown reason they back off and let Ecuador control possesion which leads to mistakes at the back and two goals for Ecuador from set pieces
