World Expo at Shanghai

The next World Fair is to be held in Shanghai and is based on the theme of "Better City - Better Life".

It appears it's going to be massive (literally), and attract upto 100m visitors. They have spent more money on this, than the 2008 Summer Olympics.

I'd love to go to this as I can imagine it'd be pretty awesome. There are some pretty decent, if slightly over the top photos by The Boston.

Iceland should have done a volcano or something..

I was there at christmas and building works were going on all over the place. The main streets look really modern now, but if you take a wrong turn down an ally you can see the neglect to infrastructure.

Yeah I'm heading off to this at the end of next month. I dont know what the whole fuss is about but will report back!
