world in conflict crash

me and a friend just got this game and about 5-10 mins into single player it will crash freezing the pc and have to restart our machines.

is this a issue and is there a fix.

running 4870 with driver version 10.4

Do you play any other graphic intensive games that run perfectly fine?

yes i play a lot of differnt games this the only 1 cause us both problems.

my friends system is a brand new i7 system and mine is a quad core.

i run 4870
friend runs 5870 both with same problrms.

Only thing I can think of if its happening to two seperate systems with the same driver is to try an older driver

Its the worth the hassle the game is very good

Since you both have the same problem, it can only be driver related to the 10.4's.

Have a look on the official game forum for issues. Must be really annoying!

guys ive rolled back the drivers and still having problems even in world of warcraft after 5 mins or so my pc freezes and i have to restart it.

only things ive have changed in the last week is run cc,cleaner, installed a corsair h50, and installed mse.

computer is fine when just browsing etc it seem to be only when playing games of putting a slight stress on my machine.

Tried 10.5s? also is this world in conflict complete or standard? if so update it if it's standard.

right for some strange reason this isnt related to games, when i run prim 95 it passes small fft`s but Blend will freeze my pc and i have to restart it.

like i say my comp been running the way it is for 12months and the problem only showed up since i installed the corsair h50. Ive reinstalled so got a clean install now.

allso passed the built in mem test of win 7

update. put my cpu back to standard and its fine but what i cant understand is how does fitting a corsair h50 make any differnce to what was a very stable oc :s
