Picture the scene;

New P5Q SE MB, Intel Q9550 CPU, ATI 4850 HD card, 4 GB of Kingstone DDR 2 800 Ram all new and a 64 bit Windows 7 all bought from OC

Firstly it takes an age to load it in, then it just doesn't work. Everything running at stock, the game just keeps crashing.

loaded in ati graphics driver latest version

Any ideas?

everything loads in correctly, then when I select the training mission to start off with, then the system crashes after about 15 seconds. Mostly black screen occasionally lots of different colours, switches off and back on.

The slightly worrying thing I have is the mb. I bought the SE which is the cheapest version of the lot and boy it shows. The CD that comes with the mb works in vista 64 but fails to even load up the menu in Win 7. All of the other Asus bits and pieces of software also fail to load under Win 7.

Having looked at the Asus site, other P5Q mb's, their more expensive models all have beta Windows 7 software, but because I have, probably the least seller, nothing exists so I have very little confidence in the mb/Win 7 combination.

In saying that in Device Driver, there are no errors showing up in Win 7 either, so perhaps I am worrying over nothing.

I had the exact same problem with it.

I rolled back the ATI Drivers to a previous build and it worked but cannot for the life in me remember which ones they were and I do not have the game anymore.
