well the beta is now out on gamespot free to anyone that signs up

brill game gotta be one of the best rts games ive played in a while and even though the beta is only 2 maps its so addictive!

looks stunning at 1680x1050 maxed out on 8800gtx get it while u can guys!!

Nope, ignore the US thing, works perfect for me. I think I'd need to play a game with, say, only people from here as it seems it's best enjoyed with a decent group of people.

Is it multiplayer beta? So we can play people from on here? That would be cool.. loved Ground Control etc and this is their new game so im really looking forward to it.

Unfortunately im in a queue on the GS download manager and the direct link is as slow as a snail traversing Mt Everest.

Yeah, the waiting time goes down faster than the estimated time (at least it did for me). I'm grabbing it at around 250KB/s now after waiting.

If its the same beta i'm playing then yes its the multiplayer beta, and yes you can join midway through matches. Really good game, looks stunning, add me to the buddy list for a game.

Try using the download manager if you aren't already, I was getting like 25k using the direct link, and 10x with the download manager. Not sure why it's NDA'd when pretty much anyone can download the beta and play.
