Guys, what's the deal with WiC? I just bought it from Uplay's sales for 2.5 euros. Never played it be4, i rebember it was considered one of the best Strategy titles. Does it still hold its own? Single player campaign worth it? Multiplayer community still exists? Mods?

Loved the SP aspect, played the campaign many times. For 2.5 euro its well worth it. MP imo was a little shallow, felt almost bit like the COD equivilent of an RTS with the short rounds to me. Last time i checked about a year ago theres weren't many servers left, but definately still alive and kicking.

Good thing about it is there are many graphics options to tweak, so it even ran well on weaker hardware back in 2007 whilst still looking good, any half decent modern laptop should let you turn most of the eye candy up

World in Conflict is my 3rd favorite RTS's of all time! The graphics at the time were astonishing (first RTS to use DX10?) and the fluidity of the gameplay was great. The developers moved on to make AC: Revelations and then Far Cry 3 but I'd love to see them come back to RTS.
 
I loved WIC multiplayer but for some reason I never bought the game.

Does anyone still play online? any cool mods online?
 
Probably the best modern-era RTS games I've ever played. I always felt the campaign was a little too short and "small" though, I always wanted more space on the maps with more ways to approach the game, rather than the standard do X objective over here!

Still a bloody good game by today's standards!
