Anyone else had the opportunity to witness this incredible music in person?
Been looking forward to it since I got tickets for my birthday early last year and it didn't disappoint!
I've seen his work played by other, smaller orchestras but to witness the full thing in a venue like the Hydro was pretty special - One thing that struck me was the silence in the audience, no phones and if it wasn't for the music, you could hear a pin drop.
A few years ago I would never have bothered with classical music, I believe it was seeing Games of Thrones played at the Hydro that got me hooked so I would encourage anyone to give it a try. Seeing these amazing artists play live is incredible.
