World of Warcraft Fps.

With my rig in sig, in a crowded place and with about 40mb of addons I always get above 80 fps.

I also noticed by turning on DX11 mode it gave an increase by about 20 fps in Twilight Highlands (it gave a slight increase everywhere but in TH it was noticeable the most).

I have never have any problems in Arenas or Raids so to say you NEED 120 fps is futile.

I play via a wired connection but I have played on wireless at other peoples houses and I haven't noticed any difference.

The plug adapters you mention are called "Powerline Adapters", google it!

You should also run this little program that is designed to lower the latency of wow, it lowered mine from a usual 140ms to 60ms.

Edit: old thread is old =/

I get 120fps on my current PC, with all graphics set to max.

Wows not the most resource hungry game though, so you could probably get the same result with less powerful hardware.

You can play WoW at the highest levels of PvE and PvP with 20fps, having 120fps is utterly needless.

I mean it's nice to have, but it won't make you a better player.

I actually thought thread meant World of Warcraft first person shooter when I first saw the title.

Got a mental picture of a group of alliance players with plasma rifles, shooting an an army of charging orcs.
