Was just wondering what kind of FPS people are getting during raids (25man whether it be LFR or Normal / Heroic / Mythic)

I am currently usually around 40-60 on trash, usually 30-50 on bosses except on a couple but on Skorpyrion boss when the little ones come out I dip down to single digits.

This is currently my PC

3570k (Not overclocked, need machines to last as long as possible and cannot afford instant replacement if I screw up)
MSI 670GTX Twin Frozr Edition (2GB)
8GB Memory

This is my current settings ingame.

I was thinking of picking up a 1070/80 but not sure if I would have to upgrade CPU as well but it would be nice if anybody has any ideas on if this may be CPU or GPU issue on FPS.

Edit
I am running a 1920x1080

Turn off Max Foreground/Background FPS limit.
Turn off Hardware Cursor
Ground Clutter on 0

Nighthold currently has bad performance, especially on the Spellblade area. As above, clock that CPU.

E: also turn off enemy nameplates. That can tank your FPS (especially on Skorp) as there's lots of adds.

I clicked in here expecting to find news on a World Of Warcraft first person shooter....

Same here!

Anyway, I only have a 2500k at 3.3GHz with a 980ti at 1440p and I have absolutely no issues in raids with FPS. I can't give exact numbers because I don't monitor them but that's because I don't need to. I did have a GTX670 beforehand and the GPU upgrade gave me a noticeable improvement. Every expansion blizzard increase the textures and minimum specs of the game.

i'd say overclock the CPU some and see how that goes, if all else fails there's no harm upgrading the GPU.

You have a cpu issue and the cheapest way is to do it.

It's pretty low risk, I'm not even sure how I'd go about killing my cpu if I wanted to. Maybe if I ignored recommended voltage that can be easily found for any cpu and put it to maximum and tried to disable any safety options and not attach a cpu cooler but I'm thinking the cpu would shut itself off before it could die.
