World Of Warcraft Question

you only get a 10 day trial for download to get a 30 day i think you have to sign up for a full account and the first month is free
 
You can download it and play for 10 days free (maybe 14 if you look around, but not sure that offer is still on). You can then purchase the game and enter your cd key into the website and play for another 30 days free.
 
To clear this up

You have a number of ways on how to play this game.

1. Download it for free with a 10 day trial.
2. Buy the game in the store (it comes with 1month free when you buy the regular version, not the expansion).
3. Buy the game online from Blizzard.

To pay for the game you have 2 options.

1. Buy gamecards for it - this is for people who cannot use credit cards. They can be bought in most highstreet stores.
2. Pay monthly on a credit/debit card that is accepted by Blizzard.
 
to be fair - the game can be brought from stores now for £9.99 - that includes a free month... (worth £8.99) - so to be fair, once your trial is done,
its worth just buying the game, cos you then get the CD Key, and a Months play time :)
 
Agree with above poster. - Battlechest for £20 is an even better deal in the highstreet. Both games and guides!

what is this ''battlechest'' you speak of!! - ive only seen it for like £30-£40 odd quid!

hmm i may have to shop around! i want the guides! just.. cos i can! :)
 
Battlechest can be bought for £20 from a well known highstreet chain that recently changed its name.

Game can be bought from Warcrafts offical website.
 
Well I was out today and couldnt find one for a decent price.

29.99 got me warcraft & dark crusade expansion.

Or 19.00 got me 60 days play, but I didn't want that long.

I'll keep looking though and thanks for the advice!
 
Evilfranky, if you dont want to pay to download it, you can get it from that online rainforest type place ;)

17.98 for the Battlechest ( Wow, The burning crusade expansion and the strategy guides ) though if you want it before christmas you may have to pay extra for the special next day delivery. With this you get 30 days free play.

Strangely enough its actually more expensive to buy the games seperately and you dont get the guides.


Lets hope your better at this game than you were at Counterstrike eh :D
 
Hi can someone tell me how the battle chest is packed. Need to buy a copy of wow for a present, but will probably get the battle chest so I have the books / add on. Does the wow come in a full retail box inside ?
 
Its worth buying the retail copy to save the truly massive download. Even then there are some stonking patches to download. When you buy the retail copy you are really just buying the key anyway. The rest of the stuff you get costs next to nothing to produce and isn't "worth" anything. If you are in the frame of mind that you want to save a lot of money by just buying the key and you done't want all the "expensive" other stuff - don't be.
