Looking to get back online and was wondering if anyone can offer me the scroll of resurrection?

I tried doing this for my Brother a few days ago and it said the same thing. Wouldn't let me do it as he had expansion packs added and wasn't a 'classic account'.

The scroll of resurrection is an option within the WoW account management page that allows you to send an ex-player of WoW an invite to try the new expansions for 10 days. If they then decide to upgrade to the expansion and pay a month's subscription, you get a month free. You can't use the scroll of resurrection if you've already used it once before, or if you've upgraded to one of the expansions. I'm pretty sure that most WoW players will have played the expansion at one time or another, so it seems pretty useless to keep it as an option for the original WoW and only that. They should really upgrade it so that it allows you to send a friend an invite back to the game no matter whether they had the expansions or not, as long as they haven't already used a scroll. Makes a bit more sense to me.
