2. should i bother with a profession or spend money on armour/etc

Truth.

WOW is one of those weird games that people shouldn't ever play - but there are people in this world that will lower themselves to WOW, as a form of entertainment.

I'm afraid you've got it very wrong.

COD is an excellent game - not only that but it teaches about the war as well. Not to mention many excellent quotes which are under-appreciated in the games loading screens.

WOW - Such a contradiction.

Cod 2 or COD 1?

COD 1 is superb, COD 2 not so much. and wow beats them both so...there you have it.

COD 2 - although COD 1 is very enjoyable.

Things such as the shift sniper steady is an excellent addition - and as a rubbish player of the game, it benefits me slightly.

WOW is alright, if you're into that whole world of rubbish.

1. You've choosen the worst character going imo.
2. Herb/alchemy. No get it all from drops.
3. If your not liking it now you probably wont. It does get better 25+. But do yourself a favour, uninstall it and forget you ever played it. If you do carry on with it you'll probably understand why i said uninstall it asap.

people have different taste of games, and thats what gives game "genres".

now i dont like WoW, its kind of made my life crap because i lost a lot of friends. But WoW has gone WAY TO FAR.
i hate wow i think people who play wow should only contain wow talks for over the internet and not in to college  luckerly i have other friends but now i dont talk about PCs now :(

what to do now...

I think they should just like, cancel WOW and make it not work anymore.

Think of the potential online gaming for other games, which are good - if this was to happen.

Just my two cents.

I'll Answer question 3, If you dont like it now I doubt you would like it later on in the game

I don’t think that is true at all, personally I hated wow at first but i persevered since all my old 1.6 clan mates were playing it. I only really started enjoying it after I hit level 20 and now it just keeps getting better the higher I get (37 now). Stick with it, also getting a good guild or playing with people you know who are of a similar level is much more fun that doing it all by yourself.

As for professions I would start off with herbalism and mining, make some money selling those on the auction house and then when you have some cash together and are a higher level, unlearn them and do something like enchanting and tailoring, or blacksmithing, all depends on your character.

As for deciding what class to play it just depends on your style of play. I usually prefer games where I get up close and bash people about but I decided to go a priest with a shadow build and I’m loving it so far.

1) Warrior's are generally boring to play though they are in demand for instances for this very reason. You will probably want to go for a "tank" build and use one-handed sword and shield.

2) Use gathering professions like skinning and herbalism/mining as it will improve your gold count for a mount at level 40 (which costs about 90 gold including training).

3) I reckon about level 20 when you start getting decent talents/equipment/instance groups. Others say it doesn't get fun until 60 but I've never got that far with a character yet.

My advice is to go to about 20th level and run through the instances about that level that are available then pick another class/race that interests you to see what you like.

I tried the 10day trial too, utter rubbish. To think you have to pay something like £8per month after the initial purchase price of the game to continue playing is mad!!!!!

1. You should buy all the skills available as long as you have the cash. Talent wise I'd start putting points in the Arms and Fury trees and ignore Protection for the mo.

2. Herb/Alchemy is good for any class, mining and blacksmithing or engineering is also worth considering. As a Warrior make sure you pick up First Aid, Cooking and Fishing as these will be essential the further you progress.

3. Fun is very subjective with WoW. Some people don't think it's fun until you get to 60 and start raiding, others like PvP and Battlegrounds. Depends what you like really, if you can't find anything fun to do then it's not your type of game.

I've played quite a few combos of class/race/faction and it does have a big effect on how much fun the game is. It depends what you like to do really, nothing wrong with experimenting with different races/classes/factions until you find the one(s) you like best.
