World record for clockspeed?

Wow. 350GHz at room temperature, eh?

Bet its IPC makes Prescott look terrific in comparison, though.

Speaking of which, I believe the highest clocked x86 based processor was a Pentium 4 Cedar Mill (65nm Prescott die shrink) core which was clocked under liquid nitrogen to 8.13GHz or something like that. Stable enough to run superpi I believe. :p

Just imagine what Tejas or Jayhawk might've clocked to. ;)

Or even better, the fabled Netburst-Nehalem (was slated for 10GHz stock before it was cancelled).
