So they're in London this year and it's on from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th.

Coverage is on BBC2/red button. I always look forward to seeing Trotter in the Omnium. And since other nations have been catching up in recent years, I think now is the time to knock them down a peg or two. I suppose most will be trying to peak for Rio but this is at home so hopefully there is a little extra incentive. :)

BBC had it on the red button last night with Hoy & Pendleton.

Since I forgot to mention it before, thank **** Edwards isn't presenting. I don't like him at all.

I really believe Trott will go on to become one of the greatest British sportswomen of all time. She already has 2 Olympic golds and 6 world titles at the age of 23. No British woman has ever won 3 Olympic golds and she has potential to surpass that at Rio, Tokyo and beyond. :)

Yep, I suppose she already is equal with all the other 2 Olympic gold medal winners.

I was just reading the BBC sport site earlier and Kristina Vogel is actually a policewoman in Germany. She's won her fair share of world/Olympic titles too - I can't believe she's not a full time rider. Apparently she is taking a year off work to prepare for the Olympics though.
