Used to have similar on a dual CPU AMD build years ago.........they actually sounded as loud as jets as well.... :cry:

Yes, though I had dual MP chips with two of those fans....so loud..... :cry:

I remember those coolers! Still have Aero 7 new in box. They had a centrifugal / blower / squirrel cage fan instead of normal radial fan. Did the job fine, but make a lot of noise doing it.
