Why do they not just release Armageddon and be done with it as that is what most people want.

It says "Single Player"? Have they nerfed it or just not officially supporting multiplayer with it?

I despise Team 17 nowadays.

They could at least add working multiplayer/ Steam achievements/Cloud support then ask for a fiver.

I always prefered the first one actually.

I HATED the later overly cartoony ones. Including Armageddon and all the latest 3D versions...
The closest other one I really like is Hogs of War. Rick Mayall woop!! lol

remember playing the original way back in the mega drive days, some great times with the old classics, anyone remeber streets of rage ? great soundtrack and fighting

Remember playing the demo over and over and over. Had the snowman level and the Hell level, used to either play against my sister or just try and destroy all of the map whilst leaving a little platform for the worms.

£5 though? Lols.

Tibbsey, same! Had it on cd demo from a magazine, played those two levels with a mate non stop all night, sooo much fun

i didn't think the rest of the game was as good when we finally got it, lol.

The worms fun pack is ok value although not having online multiplayer on a single one of them is the dealbreaker.

Team17 said online play for crazy golf was ommited because of ragequitters, isn't that the same for every game?!

Ive still got the original box version laying around somewhere. The version Ive got came with a 'code' booklet, iirc it was to start the game, like an anti piracy thing. Its a small booklet like the manuals but the pages are matte black and the codes printed in gloss black so it couldnt be photocopied. When starting the game it would give you a page number, row and column reference, you then look it up and it gave you a code number to input.

Believe it or not I used to be able to play the theme tune on a music keyboard! LOL! Me and a friend figured it out once.

£5 for Worms1... Meh, I don't really consider it worth it.
I'd pay £5 for World Party/Armageddon (again) if they released a version that was happy to work on Win7.

I remember playing the first one from floppy disk on my A600...
