Worms Reloaded Demo Issues

i just downloaded the Demo of Worms Reloaded from the Steam network.
however, there are a few issues I'm having and would like advice.
1. there is no sound
2. the game keeps crashing and force close

this is all. thanks

verify your game files.

it had the same issues with the full game the developers suggested this and the issues were fixed

Downloading DirectX direct from Microsoft worked for me too.

NOT the web updater version only the 96mb june 2010 redist works for them bugs.

Yep get this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 will resolve most of the sound and crashing issues
