Anyone up for some Worms XBL battles tonight? I only just got around to playing Worms on XBL Arcade and seeing as how the new one is out soon let's get some practice battles going

Not meaning to steal your thunder so to speak, but it saves me making another thread

Does anybody have a clue when Armageddon will be released? All the information I can find about a release date is spring, well it's spring now and still no date =/

Really looking forward to it if it is the Armageddon I know and love, since all the recent Worms games over the years have been complete ****. If it's the same one it's a definate day 1 purchase for me, I spent many hours on my PS1 with Worms Armageddon

It's been released on PSN in America so we'll need to wait a while for the launch here.

IGN is now claiming:-

Europe: December 31, 2009

Edit: The one just released on PSN is Worms 2, the same one that's been out on XBL for ages.

Worms 2: Armageddon (as it's being called) is supposedly with MS for certification.

As far as I can tell it's an amalgamation of all the best bits of the other worms games....

Last few nights we've been playing at around 8-half 8. I'll probably be on tonight again, dunno if Psy is. I've kicked his ass so many times I think he's giving up

Yes, there's been a Worms XBL Arcade game out since end of 2007/early 2008 (I think). It's essentially Worms , the second in the Worms series revamped slightly for Xbox Live Arcade.

Worms 2: Armageddeon is due out at some point. It's a remake of Worms: Armageddon bringing back the classic physics and classic weapons such as the Holy Hand Grenade.

It's supposed to be in the Microsoft certification stage which should mean within a month or 2
