Some rather worrying events have come to pass in my life and my physical health has taken a hit for the worse. I have got a large tumor in my right kidney (8cm big, 95 percent chance cancerous), huge gastric varicies with portal hypertension and various other medical issues. I am worried that I am going to die to be honest.

I have faith I won't but none the less I still worry its a possibility and I am dreading what the liver specialist is going to say to me in a weeks time as I fear they might put forward a liver transplant which means two serious operations...

I had leukemia as a child and lost my mother as a child too

8cm is huge. With regards to your mortality, speak to your doctor and the specialist and do ask about quantity of life versus quality of life.

Best of luck.
The specialist (one of the best) said I had a 5 percent chance of death with the kidney. Its the varicies that worry me they are a killer. They blew put twice back in 2008 and nearly killed me on both occasions. Advantages are I am young, of good weight and exercise daily.

Why are you seeing a liver specialist for kidney problems?

By the way if you're in Walsgrave at least you have UHCW on your doorstep, which is a seriously good hospital in my experience.

Secondary effects of my leukemia medicines as child means I have a small liver with scarring aka cirrhosis. Also have splenmogely, reduced platelet count and lymphocytes. I live very near the UHCW and have a number of specialists on my case ( Dr unit, Dr omar and dr Antony blacker)

My dad's in the Caludon center had a nervous breakdown from it all and my dad's gf has taken a stance against me because police were rang in regards to there laughing at mental health service and wasting the ambulances time by commiting acts of self harm and saying was going to commit suicide then later saying they had no intention of doing so.
