Hi,

Im kinda worried about the temperatures. The computer is in the loft and the ambient temp is about +30.
The only one I'm mostly worried about is the harddrive.
Its in a cooldrive 3 and I removed the front plate but left the fan there which dropped it a couple of C.
Is there anything I can do and what temps should I try to keep it under?

Ive got an Enermax CS-718.

You can see the cpu is in the mainflow. So the temps are correct.
I installed another fan blowing over the motherboard. A thermometer in the loft is reading 35C
Going to have to do something about the temps because they really are too high.

Ok, Ill try sort that out later.

But I have one other Q

I just got a new mobo in my sig and everytime I open speedfan it sets my CPU speed at 100%.
What can I change so it just doesnt touch my speed settings, I only want it to read my temperatures

Thanks

It makes the CPU fan about 500 RPM more which is quite louder
Anything I can do to stop it?

Your temps look fine considering the weather - certainly nothing that's going to damage anything - stop worrying!

I'd think if you unticked all the 'speed' settings in 'configure' it should stop changing your fan speeds.

Yeah tried that, but I have to restart the PC to make the fan use the onboard sensor instead.
