Worst car you've ever driven

A 1993 BMW 316, complete trash, slow heavy, poorly equipped, ugly, with the most wooden lifeless brakes I've ever experienced, this car was 1 year old.
Closely followed by a N reg 318is same as above, just slightly faster.

Really, i think mid '90s 3 series' are quite good to drive, sure it's not the best engine ever made but it does the job as well as the equivilent mondeo i.e. very well.

Are you sure you didn't drive a duffer?

1.9 in the 318is is a great 4pot that revs freely - handles ok too.

Vauxhall Agila. 1L model I think it was.

Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts...

And lol at whoever said the French can't design or engineer

No, the French haven't got a clue about engineering. They never came up with the Traction Avant, the DS, the 205 GTI, the R26 Megane, the Clio Cup, the Bugatti Type 35, the Renault Alipne etc etc etc

Don't know about Traction Avant or Bugatti Type 35 , as I'm not going to pretend I know anything about engineering of 1920/30ies A.D. cars. But the rest of those, with maybe slight exception of 205GTI, it has to be said, quirky, fast, often innovative but darn bad engineering.

I can't believe the amount of sheep followers in this thread. How can you possibly label a car as terrible, much less a whole country as having poor design and engineering. You guys need to get a grip and an opinion of your own instead of the "cool" people whom you clearly want to emulate. Sad ignorant morons.

All great French cars there Lopez, but I think you forgot the Alpine :)

Worst cars I have driven has to be pretty much anything with a Vauxhall badge. We had a 1.6 Astra in one job and to get it to go up the loading ramp even when empty, you had to either reverse it up or sidestep the clutch at 6000rpm, it was so bad it was comical. Im glad it went back after 2000 miles, although the 1.8 vectra that replaced it was not much better. Although I did drive the new Insignia and that was pretty good if a little hard.
