A question came up at work today that caused great debate and it truly feels custom designed for GD.

What date is one month after 31 January (in a non-leap year)?

You must pick a date - no fence sitting.

Go!

A calendar month is what it is. One calendar month, after the last day of any month, is the last day of the next month.

More confusing is what day/date is exactly 'one month' on from the 30th January....?

This second question - as has already been identified weringo - was the bit that caused some people to reassess their answer to the first.

Or one month from 29th..

All the same date...?

That's not confusing, it's just non-sensical. It's like asking how many bananas there are in a light year.

Still 28th Feb as no unit of measure exists for a month unless you caveat the definition of month to the average length of a month or take the best or worst case scenario of 28 or 31 respectively.
