Season after season it seems to be decisions by officials that determine a clubs/players/managers success just as much as by their own making. This season has seen it's own fair share of shockers... post 'em!

This one has to up there?

Chelsea's goal against United earlier this season.

Goals in both games against chelsea shouldnt of stood.

The foul on fletcher at stamford bridge, and the drogba receiving the ball 5 yards offside one at OT while the linesman was too busy picking his arse to keep up with play.

Freddie Sears goal for Crystal Palace at Bristol City that was not seen by any of the officials despite everyone else in the ground seeing it.

Vidic not getting sent off at Wembley against Villa.

This- absolutely criminal decisions! The decision in the first game arguably cost us the league with the game poised at 0-0 and Chelsea offering nothing.

Should also mention the two handball decisions Chelsea survived vs Bolton recently. Also worth bringing up is John Terry's shoulder to Dindane's chin in the cup final yesterday which ITV massively downplayed- completely cynical thing to do.

Should we also mention Evan's not getting sent off for assaulting Drogba (ok we won't because Drogba's a **** :p) or Macheda's handball?

You mean Drogba jumping into Evans then rolling around on the floor like he'd been struck by lightning?

And yes Macheda's was a handball, that's why I didn't mention that originally (although that would have been a lot harder to spot than Drogba being several metres offside)

As for Owen's winner against City, that's been explained multiple times and people are still going on about it

And Vidic's red against Villa...well Cuellar should have been sent off as well so that cancels out nicely.

Lol admittedly his reaction was hilarious but it was a dangerously high boot and he kicks him in the chest! :p How drogba got a yellow as well is beyond me...

He karate kicked him in the chest! :p

Don't bother. Tried arguing this to them at the time but some people will just ignore facts even when they're staring them in the face. This thread is about the worst decisions by a ref and some people are going on about a run of the mill offside decision that happens all the time and terry not getting sent off for a common blocking manoeuvre.

The first really bad ref decision that springs to my mind from recent matches was brusquets diving in the champs league and the ref giving a red card to the inter player.

Got to be that one if it's the one I'm thinking about, it even hit the back of the net before coming out.

I don't think that Evans one was a bad ref decision as Evans knew the ref wouldn't see what happened as he was behind them both.

Sorry but Evans jumps for the ball first, wins it. Then Drogba jumps straight into Evans leg (makes no attempt to win the ball) Yes Evans catches him with his foot, but that's only because Drogba jumps straight into him! The commentators at the time said the same thing if I remember correctly, and then his reaction afterwards is despicable, he's such a cheating ****.

It's obvious that Evans deliberately digs his heel into Drogba's chest, you can actually see him trying to do it, putting force into it, and then having a cheeky little look to check just how much he hurt him, with a little smile on his face.

Evans should have gone and Drogba should definitely not have have been carded.

Drogba's reaction, despite being a bit over-dramatic (for want of a better word), is understandable as I bet it nipped a tad.

Indeed I fall onto the floor and spasm uncontrollably whenever I get caught in a football game, then get up and run around fine a minute later. Perfectly understandable.

It's not about getting 'caught' though is it, it's having studs deliberately forced into your rib cage. I said it was a bit over-dramatic, but I'm just saying I bet it hurt like ****.

Drogba's a ****, possibly alongside Neville as the biggest **** in football which makes it perfectly acceptable for Evans' to do what he did.

Had it been on any other player though, I'm sure most people would have been shocked by the challenge and calling for Evans' head.
