Worst Drivers on the road.

I think I'd take 10 'bad' female drivers on the road in place of one overconfident and aggressive male driver.

I'm strongly of the opinion that policing of motorways needs to be more strict and drivers that tailgate at high speeds should receive an instant ban. It's far too common and almost always men of a certain age in a certain type of car. These people must be incredibly stupid not to realise the danger they're putting themselves and everyone around them in just to drive a little bit quicker and anyone who is that stupid shouldn't be in control of a car.

lol the UK has great motorway etiquette.

Go to switzerland and they will put the best UK audi tailgaters to shame ;)

Girlfriend and I have had this discussion and we have both agreed that women are the worst drivers on the roads. She feels pretty let down by her gender on that one and rightly so. She is actually a decent driver though, better than I am in some aspects.

Most of the idiotic, tailgaiting, aggressive, **** heap driving buffoons I've come across are male.
However, I've been rear-ended 4 times in my driving life and every single culprit was a female.

So I really can't decide who's worse...

I'll just say that "people" are all capable of being bad drivers.

I was behind a woman a while ago who almost ran into a builders skip whilst reaching for something on the passenger side. She swerved at the last minute and then carried on doing the exact same thing shortly after. :o

Bad drivers exist amongst both sexes and all age groups. However, the worst driving I see always seems to occur on my weekly trip through Bradford. It seems the highway code doesn't apply there. Give way doesn't exist, indicators are rarely used, speed limits ignored and crazy overtaking manoeuvres are common.

Urrgh this. I drove through Bradford for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was just scary.

Hindhead tunnel! Idiot people who think its a 40,50,60 limit despite the NSL electric signs every couple yards! It only changes when there's a problem morons!

I would like to give a special mention to bikers.

On the way home yesterday I had 1 pull out from behind a car when there was no space for them to do so, causing me to break heavily.
Also on a windy road 2 bikes over taking on fast corners on the other side of the road gave me a nasty shock and a moped driver driving towards me so much over my side of the road I nearly mounted the kerb.

Idiots.

I was reading a thread about her on another forum last night - truly shocking but a belief held by many.
I had an incident last night where I was left hooked by a bloke going up his drive and his answer was he pays road tax but I put him right.
Amazingly he did apologize.

I can't believe people think like this.
